Coach Scott spent 2011 assistant coaching the Queens University men’s basketball team in Kingston ,Ontario. Scott was able to see the differences between playing in the CIS and coaching. Between practices, scouting, recruiting, game tape sessions and individual workouts with the players Scott’s time at Queens was extremely hectic. A truly invaluable experience Scott was able to comprehend what goes into becoming a university basketball head coach, something that Scott aspires to become.
In 2012 Scott moved on to coach the Middle School Girls Basketball program at Brent International School Manila. This was Scott’s first experience coaching a female team and he thoroughly enjoyed the smiles, laughs and emotions leading Brent to a 2nd place finish in their Asia Pacific Conference. Scott was also able to finish his last requirements for his level 2 National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Scott spent this last year Assistant Coaching Singapore’s Elite competitive AAU program Fastbreak Basketball Club where he has apprenticed under legendary Texas High School Coach Jim Goode and coaching basketball at Overseas Family School in Singapore. Scott also just finished his first season in the SBL Pro League in Singapore where he led Fastbreak Basketball Club to a 3rd place finish and was named to the SBL PRO AM All Star team which traveled to Thailand to play in the Thai Super League Basketball Championships against National Squads from the Philippines and Taiwan Credentials

Ryan has been all over the world since finishing his education degree. Ryan spent two years teaching and coaching at Stamford American International School in Singapore. Prior to Singapore, Ryan spent two years as the Athletic Director at Brent International School Baguio in the Philippines. Currently, Ryan is teaching and coaching the Senior and Junior boys at L.V. Rogers Secondary School in Nelson, British Columbia. Ryan also created and runs an in-timetable Basketball Academy at the high school.
Ryan MacKinnon spent the beginning of 2012/2013 playing for the Oberwart Gunners in the 1st Division of the Austrian Pro League. A tremendous learning experience Ryan moved on from the Gunners after 5 months of play and spent time in Germany playing for teams abroad. Ryan was a 5 year starter for the University of Victoria Vikes (2007-2012) where he is 5th on the all time Canada West Three point shots made list and was a 2-time Canada West All Star. Ryan also played in every single game in his five year career, tied for 9th all-time in the Canada West for 106 games played. He can also add an All Canadian Rookie Team nod and All Canadian Team award to his list of accomplishments. Credentials
